Delegates will benefit from a rich programme of training and networking opportunities attended by senior risk, safety, security, regulation, and human factors experts operating in the nuclear, transportation and other safety critical industries.

The theme of the 15th annual CRA Risk & Safety Forum is:

INNOVATION IN RISK & SAFETY MANAGEMENT

The recent unveiling of the Civil Nuclear Roadmap by the UK government marks a pivotal moment in the nation’s commitment to transform the nuclear industry to align with the ambitious target of producing up to 24GW of nuclear power by 2050. This comprehensive target will require a spectrum of innovations, ranging from new reactor designs, regulatory transformation, to recruitment strategies, supply chain enhancements, and innovations in the Risk and Safety field.

This year, the CRA Risk & Safety Forum, will focus on an innovative and resilient approach across all facets of Risk and Safety management, from the initial design phase to build, commission, operate, and decommission, while maintaining a steadfast commitment to sustainability throughout the entire process. Discussions around new designs and regulatory plans, recruitment and supply chain enhancements, integrating AI and emerging technologies, decommissioning and waste management etc. will be included in the programme. Finally, as previous Risk & Safety Forums, there will be a wide range of technically challenging Risk, Safety, and Human Factors presentations and an update on our CRA Academy.
