CRA is delighted to announce that Kerrie Brown will join the Rail System Safety team in March 2016. Kerrie is extremely experienced in developing new business within a railway consultancy environment and has an excellent understanding of the safety challenges faced in our industry.
Kerrie’s key role within CRA will be to grow the business by promoting and introducing CRA’s suite of safety and risk consultancy services to the rail sector. She joins CRA after nearly 11 years with SNC Lavalin, Rail & Transit (formerly Interfleet Technology Ltd) delivering in consultancy and account management roles.
With ten years of experience in managing a portfolio of rail industry clients, she has successfully delivered on customer satisfaction, business continuity and new business development. Her past clients have included Government and other public funded bodies, passenger and freight operating companies, infrastructure owners, leasing companies and universities. During that time, she established strong relationships with a large network of contacts within the rail industry.
Previous to working with SNC Lavalin, she spent 15 years working in various roles within the Civil Service. The majority of that time was spent with the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) where her roles included Approvals Manager for New Works with Her Majesty’s Railway Inspectorate (HMRI). She then joined the Department for Transport’s (DFT) newly established Rail Accident Investigation Branch (RAIB) as a member of its implementation team developing the enabling legislation.
